1 in 5 youth has a diagnosable behavioral or mental health disorder

360 Focus Mental Health realizes that youth are talking about mental health but are often misinformed. Many youth do not get help until their health is in crisis, because they don’t know how to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy. Through the app students can gain evidenced-based information so they can understand when it is just part of life and when to reach out for support.

Many Teachers Experience Burnout

360 Focus Mental Health puts teachers’ wellness first by giving them a daily mental health stabilization program to empower themselves in their personal mental health. Using microlearning removes the feeling one doesn’t have enough time for self-care and empowers teachers to take 3-minutes a day to improve and stabilize their wellness.

A Proactive Approach to Mental Wellness

Three Minutes a Day

360 Focus Mental Health delivers an evidenced-based daily micro-learning system
designed to empower and improve student’s mental health in just 3 minutes a day. Click here to read more about micro-learning.

Meeting Students Where They Are

Like it or not electronics are here to stay and students are comfortable learning and
interacting on digital devices. Our digital delivery platform allows students to engage in
mental health stabilization on a daily basis with push notifications, positive messages and
games to help them stay engaged in learning about their mental health from a
neurological, evidenced-based foundation.

More Than SEL

Mental health issues keep increasing despite SEL implementation and crisis response protocols. 360
Focus Mental Health takes a proactive approach to mental health empowerment while layering in the
required SEL skills with a mental health foundation. There is an erroneous assumption that SEL
programming directly addresses mental health and emotional needs of students. While SEL can greatly
benefit students, especially those with social skill deficits, it is not sufficient to meet individual needs of students struggling with mental health conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Yes, 360 Focus Mental Health has organized their learning libraries to be developmentally appropriate. There are four libraries for grades: K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Students will only be able to view their grade level library.

No, 360 Focus Mental Health is not a curriculum that a teacher is expected to teach and therefore there is no lesson planning or prep. While some districts may choose to do the program in the classroom, it would only involve the students using their Chromebook or digital devices to do the 4-minute activity.

This is intended to help each individual to become stabilized and empowered in their personal health, teachers included.

It is very important for parents to be engaged in this stabilization and empowerment journey with their students. Depending on the district parents may get a weekly video going over what was learned that week, or they may be given their students’ login information so they can view the app at any time.

We also encourage parents to sit down with their student at home and look at the 3-minute lesson for the day and discuss it as a family.

Students are hungry for information and want to understand how their brain works and why they feel the way they do sometimes. 360 Focus Mental Health takes 3-4 minutes a day through a microlearning process so it is not a huge commitment to a student. Plus, we have gamified the experience to make it even more engaging so that students want to follow through each day.

We are meeting students where they are most comfortable, which is on their digital devices. We realize that these tools are part of life.

We are creating a model that teaches students how use them in a healthy way and we also educate students on the impacts to the brain and body when electronics are abused and overused.
